The garden is given the same consideration as to any other room. Environment is set and presented in an inviting way, making use of the many available resources.
Both, the toddler room and the pre-school unit have direct access to the garden and can be accessed at any time an adult is there. We use ‘free-flow’ to the garden and children have full control by placing their photo on the ‘jardin’ (garden) or ‘dentro’ (indoors) picture.
The garden offers a climbing wall, balancing logs, bug’s hotel, mud kitchen, large sand-pit, blackboard, Wendy House, Water play, a ‘free area’ -which changes constantly- and a vegetable patch.
There also are four trees, three fruit ones and another which provides a perfect shaded space for story time or simply for relaxing. Children use the numerous resources available to set or change the areas as they wish.
